Finding Power in the Plus


Rebranding one of Mississippi’s most respected firms.

Ramey has always admired the design work of Cooke Douglass Farr Lemons (CDFL). A venerable architectural firm based in Jackson, Mississippi (one floor down from Ramey!), CDFL has developed a national reputation for its designs of a range of educational, corporate, sports and federal projects.


Last year, CDFL approached Ramey to assist with a firm rebranding, and, over the course of several days, we met with firm leadership and a team of CDFL employees as part of a process we call Brand Journey. Our discussions and outside research helped us hone in on how to position CDFL on both a statewide and a regional level.

Based on CDFL’s spirit of collaboration, Ramey created The Power of Plus. This new brand highlights one of CDFL’s greatest (and most unique) strengths: its ability to collaborate with partners, with clients, and with one another – an office of portfolio of branded materials including an updated corporate identity, new collateral templates, an e-communication template, and more. We are also in the process of finishing CDFL’s website, which will act as its brand ambassador in the digital world.
